About Association :- The Government of India has initiated reforms to liberalize the power sector in the country to curb T&D losses, rising subsidy burden and rampant corruption and improve overall efficiency by making each individual accountable. The enactment of the Electricity Act 2003 was the first step in this direction. Joining the ranks of other States of India with regard to implementation of power sector reforms, the Punjab Government has also disbanded the Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB), a statutory body constituted on 01/02/1959

Education :-
Junior Engineer(Electrical/Sub-Station) :–
- The candidate should possess full time regular 3/4 years Diploma in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering from an institute recognized by State/Central Govt. with minimum of 60% marks.
- Note: B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc/AMIE (from Institution of Engineers (India) Calcutta) or higher qualification in Electrical /Electrical and Electronics Engg will be considered only if the candidate has essential qualification. i.e. Full Time Regular 3/4 years Diploma in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering from an institute recognized by State/Central Govt. with minimum of 60% marks.
Junior Engineer/Civil :-
- The candidate should possess full time regular 3/4 years Diploma in Civil Engg. from an institute recognized by State/ Central Govt. with minimum of 60% marks.
- Note: B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc/AMIE (from Institution of Engineers (India) Calcutta) or higher qualification in Civil Engg will be considered only if the candidate has essential qualification. i.e. Full Time Regular 3/4 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from an institute recognized by State/Central Govt. with minimum of 60% marks. Trade.
